An Event Like NO Other ~ Classes, Demos, Make & Takes, Shopping and More
Dear Store Owner,
It's time for the Fifth Annual Stamping and Scrapping with Style Weekend, sponsored by Gary M. Burlin. This year's event promises to be the best yet!
Last year, storeowners from across the United States and Canada joined us for this weekend of instruction, demos, make-and-takes, fun food, and valuable networking. We would love to have you join us this year. Highly skilled instructors introduce the newest products and techniques before they hit the convention circuit and your customers. We have classes available for a variety of tastes, skills, and areas of interest. Storeowners have a unique opportunity to shop the warehouse to see and touch and buy the hottest new products while taking advantage of great show specials.
Gary will again host the "Meet The Teachers" cocktail party on Thursday night that kicks off the weekend with a relaxing evening in his home. We’ll present classes all day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. In between classes you can shop, snack, talk and make new friends. A special Store Owners Forum will be held on Sunday morning from 9 am until 11 am for open discussion on industry trends, operation issues, or whatever topics are vital to our storeowners. Only storeowners may attend no exceptions.
Registration will take place at the hotel on Thursday from 1 pm until 5 pm in the main lobby of the hotel. Please note that the warehouse will not be open to attendees on Thursday so that we can finalize preparations for you.
Enclosed are the details for registration and accommodations. Some classes fill quickly, so respond as soon as you can, and be sure to indicate an alternate class choice when completing your registration. We must limit attendance to owners and payroll employees only due to accommodation limitations, we appreciate your cooperation.
Free shuttle service will be available to and from the airport as well as between Gary's warehouse and the hotel throughout the weekend. Classes will be held at the hotel and GMB warehouse. Attendees are responsible for breakfast. Options include the hotel buffet, local fast food, or breakfast in bed since each room is equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee. Lunch and dinner will be served at our warehouse on Friday and Saturday, lunch will be served on Sunday. Please indicate if you have any dietary restrictions that we can accommodate. We will provide our famous "munchies center" (including chocolate of course) and beverages to sustain you through all the excitement of the weekend. Evenings include make-and-takes, demos and warehouse expertise to answer your shopping questions.
All attendees are asked to bring a basic stamping kit to classes (scissors, craft knife and mat, dry and wet adhesives) or purchase these items from Gary.
